He was often criticized at school. Being a Spider-Man lover, he described him as Spider-Man's alter ego, Peter Parker. His formal education consisted of Priory Preparatory School and City of London Freemen's School. Also, he was a student at an institution called the Central School of Speech and Drama and University of London. He began his interest in acting as he realized that he wasn't interested in studying business anymore. In 2005, he started his journey as a professional actor. He was also featured in "Sugar Rush,"" the British series. In the following year, he plays his first major lead role in the film "Boy A." in which he plays an unruly boy who is trying to start afresh after life of imprisonment. Alongside "The Social Network" he played the main part in the movie "The Amazing Spider-Man". Additionally, he was cast in 2016 as the lead actor in the classic film "Silence". A variety of awards were awarded to him, like an award from the BAFTA Award and Tony Award. Additionally, he received the A.A.C.T.A. Award for 'Best Actor' after his performance as the character "Hacksaw Ridge." As well as these awards, he won countless Oscar nominations and the opportunity to collaborate with actors like Sam Worthington, Campbell Scott as well as the first Spider-Man, Tobey Maguire.
