Lis Wiehl works as an American lawyer and writer who was formerly the Fox News analyst.
She is an adjunct professor at Law, New York Law School. Previously she was Associate Professor of Law at the University of Washington Law School. Legal commentaries have been provided to National Public Radio and Bill O'Reilly's Radio Factor. She has appeared as a guest on The O'Reilly Factor and Your World with Neil Cavuto. Wiehl, who was born and grew up within Yakima within Washington State, was a graduate of Yakima in the state of Washington from West Valley High School. She received her degree from Barnard College with a Bachelor's degree at the age of 33 in. In 1985 she received her master of Arts degree in Literature at the University of Queensland. And in 1987 she was awarded a Juris Doctorate from Harvard Law School.
Wiehl was a prosecutor in the past for the US Attorney. Her role was as the correspondent for legal issues on the NPR program All Things Considered. She served as deputy chief investigation counsel for Democrats in the House Judiciary Committee in Clinton's impeachment. From 1995 to 2001, she served as a tenured law professor of the University of Washington School of Law in Seattle, where she ran the Trial Advocacy Program. Wiehl worked as an analyst for Fox News Legal Analyst from the year 2001 through 2017.
