Alex Flanagan

She graduated from her school, the University of Arizona, and Salpointe Catholic High School. She anchors and reports for NFL Network and NBC Sports, and a sideline journalist to Football Night in America and the home matches that are part of Notre Dame football. Flanagan hosts a weekly report on Madden 10 and Madden 11 alongside Fran. Alex comes from Sonoita in Arizona. She's got a husband, Kevin Flanagan, a former University of Arizona basketball player Kevin Flanagan. The couple have two daughters and one son. Alex's father owns two Arizona steakhouses: The Steak Out (located at Sonoita) and Dove Mountain. Flanagan started out in her career as a news reporter, and anchor during her time at college. She was an intern for students at KVOA-TV and she began reporting on sport in 1998. The networks she worked for were diverse such as NBC Sports, NFL Network, ESPN, and Fox Sports. She was also an active Gamma Phi Beta member. Flanagan's career began as a journalist on general assignments as well as a weekend anchor at KCCO-TV Alexandria, Minnesota.
