Alexa Meade measurements, bio, height, weight, shoe, and bra size
The shadows that she noticed on the lawn inspired her to develop the technique that, does not, however, paint the chosen object on canvas. More like the subject has been transformed into the artist's own image with the canvas taking an interpretation by the artist. This is especially effective when dealing with living objects or objects that can be perishable like people or fruits. The ephemeral nature of her art style is apparent and what survives in Alexa Meade's works is a photographs. The painting and the photographic techniques are so tightly coordinated and result in an unflat, 2-dimensional space which is able to achieve trompe-l'oeil. In this, the third dimension is only visible in certain areas like near the eyes, or near hair. Meade occasionally integrates painted models in the space surrounding them. It allows them to engage with the environment the artist has constructed. This way, the line between photography and painting is dissolved.
